Myg
Where your data is stored
Myg stores your workout logs, exercises, routines, body weight, body measurements, settings, and backups on your device. The app does not currently sync this data to a Myg cloud account.
Export a backup
- Open Myg on your device.
- Go to Settings (or the backup section in the app).
- Tap Export Backup.
- Choose where to save the backup file on your device.
Keep exported backup files in a safe place if you want to restore your data later or move it to another device.
Import a backup
- Open Myg on your device.
- Go to Settings (or the backup section in the app).
- Tap Import Backup.
- Select the backup file you previously exported.
Importing replaces or merges data according to how the app handles import on your current version. If you are unsure, export a backup of your current data before importing.
Delete your data
You can remove data in several ways:
Delete entries in the app
Where the app supports it, you can delete individual workouts, exercises, routines, or other entries directly inside Myg.
Clear app data or uninstall
To remove all local Myg data from your device:
- Open your device Settings.
- Go to Apps > Myg.
- Tap Storage, then Clear data, or uninstall the app.
Important: Uninstalling Myg or clearing app data deletes local data on that device. This cannot be undone unless you exported a backup first.
